Hey everyone in PCA 111! This is your classmate, Gabriell Copeland. I'm from Bronx, NY. I turned 20 last month and this is my first year student at MCNY, majoring in Urban Studies. I transferred from Northeastern University, which i attended for 2 years. My favorite thing to do are playing the piano. I taught myself how to play the piano when I was 14. Basketball is also a hobby that I enjoy. I used to play on a club team at my old college and now that I'm back in the city, I continue to play in a smaller community league. I choose Urban Studies as my major because all the classes I will be taking will prepare me for the more challenging Graduate Degree I am planning to take. After I recieve a Bachelor of Arts in American Urban Studies, I will take some biology and chemistry classes at a CUNY school. I am doing this because I plan on going to school to recieve my Master's Degree as a Physician's Assistant. My MCNY degree will prepare me mentally for all the work I will be doing during the Master's degree program. My ultimate goal is to become a Radiologist.
I also feel that MCNY will also be a good place to make connections with students and faculty that will be benefitial for me. I feel very comfortable using technology such the computer and the World Wide Web. I use websites such as facebook and msn to check my email and keep in contact with friends and teachers very often. If anyone has facebook, feel free to add me. My name is "Gabe Copeland".
Wow, Gabe i am impressed that you taught yourself how to play the piano, i took lessons for years and was never any good.
