One of my biggest strengths is that I am extremely patient. I can wait for a while for things to start happening. For example, I want to become a doctor in the future. This takes about 7 – 8 years after high school. Normally people would stay away from careers that take so long to complete, especially if they get side tracked. I am willing to take my time in school and finish up school when I am about 28.
Another strength I have is that I am very creative with what I do. Whether it is with the piano, sports or a regular class assignment, I try to do everything I can different from the way other people do them. The final strength that I will be writing about is that I am a good listener. Friends come to me all the time to tell anything they’re going through and ask for me to give them feedback on what I’ve heard.
One of my biggest weaknesses is that I tend to procrastinate a lot. When I get assignments, I judge how long it will take me to do the assignment properly. After I determine the time, I wait till the last minute to do the work. I feel that if I can get rid of this bad habit, I can be a much more efficient student. The only problem is that it has been programmed into me since high school so it has become a very hard habit to get rid of.
Another weakness I have is that I am lazy when it comes to this I do not want to do. One example of this is when I have to do a research paper. I always find a shortcut (without plaigarizing) through connections to get the research to me with as little work as possible. Although it always seems to work out, I have to work on my work ethic when it comes to doing school assignments.
